Nimisha Mohandas

 

Nimisha grew up in Brunei, but came to our group via Manchester, where she completed a Masters in organic chemistry. She is working on a project attempting to construct polysaccharide containing strings for facilitating single-molecule studies, and as well as performing some chemistry is also getting into enzymes, ELISA and the strangely compelling world of CE.

When not in the lab she enjoys, badminton, dance, travel  and Iron Maiden…

A belated (not like me, Im normally so prompt 😉 ) well done to Jessie for the award of a Vice Chancellors Massey Doctoral Scholarship. I have been trying to reign her in, but it looks like she is determined to study pectin. Pity eh?
