Maori Science Academy

Was sweet to be involved in the launch of the Maori science academy and meet a real-live astronaut who had piloted and commanded the space shuttle;-) I love science!!

Gringo Hits Europe ;-)

A post about Pablo also has a German flavour;-) Pablo attended a cool soft matter conference in Germany, presenting a poster on his graph analysis of networks,

Then he went onto Leipzig to visit David Smith’s group who have been doing some cool stuff making “polymers” of designed stiffness using DNA asssemblies;-)

FB_IMG_1447126803227Well done Dr Marj;-)! Marjorie successfully defended her thesis last week on “Developing a Dual Trap Optical Tweezers Method to Measure Interactions Between a Pair of Oil Drops“. Was great to see her back in NZ again; and finally see her get her just rewards! Enjoyed working with you Marj – so long and thanks for all the….Impossible gear!…..Marjorie has a cool job in San Francisco and is saving the planet one burger at a time….

MESA Bootcamp;-)
